What’s the difference?
There will be a lot of emails sent to the address on file. Updates to the accounts, changes to hiring areas, new carriers and account announcements, updates on driver applications, valuable industry insights, and more. Having a dedicated email account to keep all those separate from your personal emails can be both handy and valuable. With the branded email account, you’ll also have a direct dedicated chat with members of our admin team for instant real-time assistance anytime you need it.
Additionally, when filling out applications for your drivers you’ll be collecting sensitive information including social security number and date of birth. If you’re sending and receiving email from a personal or free account, it could cause drivers to question your legitimacy and cause reluctance to trust you with such vital information.
A professionally branded email account with IMC Professional Driver Services will help to immediately set your emails apart, help you avoid the spam filters, and give your correspondence that polished and professional look that will give your drivers the confidence to trust and do business with you.
What’s the alternative?
If you don’t want to pay for an IMC Professional Driver Services email account, you can use a personal email account or set up free GMail account for your recruiting business.

Our Google Voice phone service will allow you to keep your personal number private without having to carry a second phone for your business. We’ll provide you with a direct line as well as an extension on the IMC Professional Driver Services phone line that you can give out to drivers instead of your personal number, and you’ll also be included on our ‘next available representatives’ ring group so you’ll get to talk to highly motivated drivers calling in response to company sponsored ads!
Those who opt for the phone service will also receive weekly statistical analysis to help track metrics such as number of calls made, average call length and more, all included with your monthly subscription of only $29.95 per month! The Google Voice business phone service is compatible with several desk phones and headsets, and allows you to:

Why doesn’t IMC just provide the phone & email service?
We do! We want every recruiter that signs up to have the phone and email service to maximize their profitability and success. We also want every recruiter that signs up to make phone calls and get drivers hired. But unfortunately 90% of the people who sign up never bother to make a single phone call, and never get any drivers hired.
The phone and email services cost exactly what we charge; we don’t make a dime off them. And when you get your first commission of $1,300 per driver on average for our Venturer plan recruiters, or $2,700 per driver for those on the Entrepreneur plan, the $50 for phone and email are a minor cost for doing business. But any month you get two hires we’ll reimburse the phone and email fees for the Venturer recruiters or the monthly subscription fee for our Entrepreneur recruiters in the form of a bonus on the second commission payment. So everything across the board is 100% free as long as you get at least 2 hires per month.
Don’t worry, if you skip this step for now you’ll have an opportunity to sign up later from your Recruiter Dashboard, or you can earn FREE services with our Fast Start Incentives!
If you sign up and pay for services now but end up earning them with the Fast Start Incentives after the fact, you can choose to keep your services on all month long regardless of activity, or we can reimburse any payment you made and subject your services to our “use it or lose it” policy for free and gifted services. You can always pause or cancel any paid subscriptions from your My Account page at any time without any further obligation.
