Built for comfort and efficiency, all trucks feature automatic transmissions and come fully equipped with inverters and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) to ensure a comfortable environment on the road. The fleet’s speed is safely regulated at 62 mph on the pedal and 66 mph while on cruise control, with a built-in pass-smart feature allowing for 30 minutes of 70 mph driving per day. Driver flexibility regarding equipment is tailored to the lane, as both permanent truck assignments and the ability to take the truck home for time off are dependent upon the specific route and hiring area.”

RIDER POLICY
Riders are allowed.
-Unauthorized passengers are not permitted under any circumstances
-Experienced drivers may take a passenger with them after successfully completing orientation
-Must not have had any preventable accidents or incidents in the past 90 days
-No passenger can possess a current valid class A CDL endorsement on their driver’s license
-Drivers operating in a local environment may request a special occasion one-day passenger authorization
-Year-round passengers must be 18 years of age or older
-A son or daughter is allowed one time per month for up to 14 days at a time from May through August. (Meaning the child can be a rider up to 4 times for 2 weeks at a time) Their school must be on summer break. They must be at least 10 years old. No one under the age of 10 shall be permitted in the unit at any time. The Lytx inward-facing sensor must be uncovered while the truck is in motion
-Passengers must be in good health and not pregnant. They must be able to enter and exit the tractor without assistance using 3 points of contact
-Only one passenger is permitted at any given time
-4)A passenger cannot perform any of the driver’s job functions
Failure to comply with the provisions outlined herein subjects you and PTL to liability exposure, damage to CSA scores, and unnecessary risk, therefore having an unauthorized passenger in the truck will lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination
Prior notification and approval from the Safety Department to request authorization to carry a passenger is required
The Safety Department must be notified when the passenger leaves the truck.
PET POLICY
-Only 1 adult dog allowed
-Dogs cannot be brought to orientation or to the PTL Lodge
-With approval; Drivers may pick up their dog during home time
-They must weigh no more than 50 lbs
The driver must contact the PTL Safety Department to complete a Pet Policy form before the dog is allowed in the truck.
Driver will pay $15.00 per week while the pet policy in in effect

ORIENTATION INFO
“You will attend a mandatory two-day orientation, which is held at one of four locations: Murray, Kentucky; Indianapolis, Indiana; West Memphis, Arkansas; or Laredo, Texas. Your location will be the one closest to your hiring area. PTL covers the cost of all transportation, motel accommodations, and meals during the orientation process.
PTL offers multiple travel methods to get you to orientation, depending on your preferences and needs:
Bus Travel: If you choose to travel by bus, Greyhound tickets must be ordered a week prior to your departure date. The ticket confirmation number remains valid for 10 days. Once you arrive at the station in Paducah, a shuttle will pick you up and transport you directly to the PTL Lodge in Murray.
Personal Vehicle: Drivers are welcome to drive their personal vehicle or have someone drop them off. If you choose to drive your own vehicle, you will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.26 per mile. PTL will also consider arranging a rental car if it is deemed necessary.
Flying In: If you prefer to fly, you will be responsible for managing your own travel details at your own expense. PTL will reimburse you up to $200 for the flight. Please note that flights must be scheduled for a weekday, as weekend fly-ins are not permitted. You must also provide your arrival schedule, flight number, and arrival time so that truck assignments can be properly notified.
Motel accommodations will vary depending on your location.
Murray, KY drivers will stay at the PTL Lodge
Indianapolis, IN drivers will stay at the Wood Springs Suites
West Memphis, AR drivers will stay at Tru By Hilton
Laredo, TX drivers will stay at Sure Stay
For breakfast, drivers can eat at the hotel, lunch and dinner will be provided.
Upon completing the two-day orientation, company drivers receive a total of $150 in orientation pay. This is distributed in two equal installments loaded directly onto your EFS card. The first $75 is issued once you complete the full orientation and are sent to truck assignments. The remaining $75 is added to your card after you take your first dispatch.”
