EQUIPMENT INFO
“Barr‑Nunn maintains some of the highest equipment standards in the industry, prioritizing tractor and trailer uptime to ensure drivers have a reliable, comfortable experience and customers receive consistent, top‑tier service. Their tractor fleet is built around late‑model Freightliner Cascadias, primarily ranging from 2022 to 2026. Each unit is outfitted with dual tires, dual air‑ride seats, and bunk heaters to maximize stability and driver comfort. Trucks are governed at 65 mph, with PasSmart allowing up to 68 mph for one hour per day. All tractors feature automatic transmissions, 1500‑watt inverters, refrigerators, flat‑screen TVs, and microwaves, giving drivers the amenities needed for life on the road. Additional equipment includes air‑release fifth wheels, aluminum drive rims, and double‑bunk raised roofs. Barr‑Nunn also provides SiriusXM Radio at no cost, adding another layer of comfort and convenience for drivers.
The company’s trailer fleet is equally modern and well maintained, supported by advanced tracking technology to streamline operations. Barr‑Nunn utilizes SkyBitz trailer tracking systems with cargo sensors on most trailers, helping drivers quickly locate the correct equipment and improving overall freight visibility. The fleet consists of approximately 1,800 Wabash 53‑foot trailers and around 60 Great Dane 53‑foot trailers. Most trailers are equipped with aerodynamic blades to improve fuel efficiency and are built with spring suspensions for durability and smoother hauling. Together, these features reflect Barr‑Nunn’s commitment to investing in dependable, driver‑friendly equipment across both tractors and trailers.”
Riders allowed from day 1 but must be at least 10 years old and only 1 rider at a time. NO pets allowed.
