Best Express operates a modern fleet consisting primarily of International Pro Stars and Freightliner Cascadias. All trucks are equipped with automatic transmissions, and the company is open to reviewing applicants who hold an automatic-only restriction. The average age of the tractors ranges from 2022 to 2024, ensuring drivers have access to newer, well-maintained equipment. Trucks have to be left at the terminal in El Paso, TX for time off but they are permanently assigned to its driver, promoting consistency and familiarity with the vehicle. For safety, the trucks feature both front-facing and driver-facing cameras, which activate only during specific events. Speed is regulated at 67 mph for both cruise control and pedal operation and are equipped with inverters to support drivers’ electrical needs on the road.
