The IMC Recruiter Package

Harness the power of the world’s most advanced and best organized recruiting platform by becoming an IMC Driver Services Specialist!

How Does it Work?

We’ll provide you with a contract to recruit for IMC. You’ll talk to truck drivers on the phone using our top-notch VOIP phone service on your personal smart phone so that you never have to give out your personal phone number, and you won’t need to carry two phones!

Simply go over our Pre-Screening questionnaire with the drivers and if they’re qualified, give them all the job details using our professionally written scripts as needed, and then complete our online application with your driver over the phone.
Don’t need our scripts? Great! All the information is also provided in bullet point for every job, so you can choose your own approach based on your skillset and comfort level. How and when you work is also entirely up to you since you’re the boss!

Our Admin team will review the application for accuracy and completeness, then send it on to the carriers for processing. You’ll stay in touch with your driver, giving and receiving updates on their application status until they get to orientation. Then, once your driver gets hired and dispatched by the carrier you’ll get paid a commission of up to $4,000 or more per driver depending on the job!

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can I get started?
You can start your recruiting career with IMC right now. Just fill out and sign your contract by choosing the IMC Recruiter Package, and then once you’ve paid the first month’s fee you can get started on the onboarding training right away, anytime day or night!
What kind of support is available if I do sign up?
First, we’ll start by getting you up to speed by teaching you everything you need to know to get started with our New Recruiter Onboarding Training Program. Then we’ll do a special orientation teleconference to make sure you’re up and running with confidence.
What if I can only recruit part time?
One of the best things about this opportunity is that it is scalable, meaning that it can be as big or as small as you want it to be. The one thing that we’ve found is that consistency is key, because when you have drivers in the pipeline you’ll need to communicate with them every day. If you can be consistent, recruiting for at least a few hours each day, then you can certainly be successful and grow this into a full-time endeavor.
How long does it take to make money?
On average, a brand new recruiter with no experience will take between 30-45 days to get that first hire. However, we do have several who get their first commission payment within two to three weeks of starting. Kenneth L., a former truck driver and first time recruiter, earned his first commission within 45 days of signing up. He earned more than $6,000 in commissions within 30 days after that. Paul W., also a first time recruiter earned his first commission of $2,000 within ten days of starting.
What if I’ve never had a home-based job before?
Working from home definitely poses its own challenges, but during your onboarding training we’re going to help you to identify some of the potential pitfalls and problems, along with how to approach them to develop a healthy home-based work environment and productive habits.
What is the work schedule for a recruiter?
As your own boss, you’ll decide your own hours, but the early bird gets the worm! Most drivers are up and working by 7 a.m. EST, but you’re in complete control of when and how much you work! Start out working part time and grow it into a full time endeavor, or jump in both feet first and call 100 drivers a day. The more you put into it, the more you get out of it. The key lies in being consistent.
How do taxes as a 1099 independent contractor work?
This is a commission only position. You get paid if and when you get a driver hired and dispatched by one of our partner carriers. Because this is a home-based opportunity, there is really no way to verify whether or not someone is working, and doing so effectively, other than to make the compensation production-based. As a 1099 independent contractor you will be responsible for withholding and paying your own taxes. For best practices and state specific information you should seek the advice of a tax professional in your area.
Do you offer a free trial period?
Yes we do! If you’re not completely blown away by our platform and training, just contact us in writing by emailing admin@transportunity.us before the end of your first week and we will promptly deactivate your account and issue a full refund.
What makes TransporTunity different from other work from home opportunities?
A lot of work from home opportunities are either outright scams, or they’re product based and/or multi-level marketing schemes where you have to either buy tons of product or get everyone you know to sign up as dealers. This is an out of the box opportunity with all the tools an entrepreneur needs to build a successful business with unlimited income potential. All you need to succeed is a phone, a computer, and determination. We’ll provide everything else!
How much can a recruiter realistically make?
Our average commission is typically around $2,000 for an experienced driver. An experienced full-time professional recruiter can average up to two hires per week, earning up to $16,000 per month. It all comes down to a mixture of the skillset, time, and effort a recruiter puts in.
When do I get paid?
You get paid on Friday the week after your driver has finished orientation and is dispatched by the carrier. On average, 11-14 days after your driver starts orientation. Orientation is typically a three day process for most carriers. So if today is Monday the 1st and my driver is starting orientation today, then that means he should finish orientation on Wednesday and be dispatched the next day. So the commission payout would come the following Friday on the 12th. So in that case the commission payout would be 11 days after the driver started orientation.
Do the commission amounts change?
Yes, the commission amounts do change from time to time depending on the needs of the carriers. Our proprietary Real-time Job Mapping System allows you to see what each job pays you, as well as what the drivers will be making, so you can decide which applicants you talk to, and which jobs to present.
What makes TransporTunity different from other recruiting platforms?
There are literally hundreds of carriers and thousands of truck driving jobs out there. But most recruiters only have a few jobs to talk about because they only work with a few carriers, and they can only manage to remember the details for a limited number of jobs. But our proprietary Recruiter Account Mapping System contains detailed information for hundreds of jobs with our nearly 30 national carriers. All we need is the driver’s zip code and we’ll have an arial view of the hiring areas for all the jobs in their area. And with a click of the mouse, all the details for every job and carrier. A strategic advantage no other recruiting office has!
How do our commissions stack up?
Other recruiting websites boast commissions averaging from $500 to $1,500 per driver. At TransporTunity we don’t even have a $500 job in our system. The lowest commission you’ll get here is $800, and that’s for a brand new truck driving student that’s never seen the inside of a truck before. Our average commission for an experienced driver is $1,921 with commissions going as high as $4,300 per driver!
