JOB DETAILS
This is a dedicated, regional route delivering grocery freight to Save A Lot stores within the states of OH, NY, PA, MI and IN. It’ll be live unload, you’ll be required to check off pallets as freight is unloaded. Backhauls from the customer and/or Hogan should be expected.
This account stresses the ability to embrace being on time. Punctuality is a must for the customer and their customers so on time performance is measured daily. Any disruptions or issues must be proactively communicated to dispatch.
You’ll be home weekly running an average of 400 miles per day with an average of 2 stops. Your schedule will consist of a 6 day work week, unless pre-approved time off or due to customer load count. So you’ll need to be prepared to work each Saturday unless notified by Hogan letting you know otherwise. Start times will be from 2 AM-12 PM. There will be no Sunday deliveries unless requested by customer.
Compensation will be based on mileage, stop pay and backhaul pay. Mileage will be based on verifiable experience, starting rates range from $0.53-$0.57 CPM. You’ll then get an annual .01 pay increase on your anniversary date up to $0.60 CPM. In addition to that you will get $16 per stop and $16 per backhaul making the average weekly pay $1,442-$1,538. There is a daily minimum of $150 as long as you complete the scheduled dispatch.
Training on this account will be 2-5 days in a truck with an experienced driver to learn paperwork and procedures. Paid at $150 per day.

“Orientation will be 2 days long paid out at your state’s current minimum wage rate. Location will be Earth City, MO. Rooms are usually single occupancy but if the hotels are full, drivers will have to double up. Breakfast and lunch will be provided and travel will be by bus. But if you prefer to drive yourself, fuel will be reimbursed with valid receipts.”
