Trans Am Trucking runs Kenworth T680’s, 4 years old or newer, all automatic transmissions and governed at 65mph.
Trucks are assigned and can be taken home for time off as long as there is a safe place to park both truck and trailer. They are all equipped with APU units, invertors and forward facing cameras.
EZ Pass and Pre-Pass provided as well as toll cards and EFS fuel cards.
Pets are NOT allowed. One rider is allowed for a $19.00/month fee. They must be at least 10 years old and obtain a rider’s pass. The rider policy starts after the first home time (do not bring rider to orientation).

ORIENTATION INFO
Orientation will be 3 days long for Company Drivers and 2 days long for Independent Contractors. Company drivers will be paid $100 per day and IC’s will get $105 per day. It’ll be held in Olathe, KS Monday-Wednesday. Drivers will go solo on day one. Lodging will be provided at the La Quinta in Olathe. Breakfast will be at the hotel, lunch will be at Trans Am and dinner will be on the driver. Travel will be by plane. If the driver doesn’t want to fly the carrier will get them a bus ticket. If the driver chooses to get a rental car they will reimburse the driver up to $350. (More travel info below)
