You’ll be running Freightliner Cascadia’s, all automatic, 2021 or newer. They’ll be governed at 62 mph on pedal and 64 mph on cruise with a PassSmart of 67 mph for 30 minutes per day.
All trucks are assigned and can be taken home for time off. Met Express does not have a place for parking so you may use truck stops, mall parking lots, etc. and any cost for parking is on you.
All trucks are equipped with 1500 watt inverters and Park Smart (which is the same as APU) as well as a refrigerator, flat screen TV and Sirius XM. You will also be provided with an EZ Pass, EFS Fuel Card and Qualcomm with NaviGo Navigation.
Riders and Pets (one dog) allowed from day one. Riders must be a family member who is at least 18 years old and there will be a $5 per week charge.
Cameras are front facing and event only.

ORIENTATION INFO
Orientation will be 2.5 days long, Monday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Friday and will be paid $250 on your first dispatch. Breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as lodging as a single occupancy room at the Motel 6 in Bloomsburg, PA. Travel will be by bus, personal vehicle or plane. If driving you’ll be reimbursed for fuel with valid receipts. If you’re flying you’ll be reimbursed and will only need a one way ticket. You’ll be flying into Avoca Intl Airport in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Met Express will pick you up there.
