MAKE SURE TO:

WHAT IF MY DRIVER WANTS TO DO THE APPLICATION THEMSELVES?

“I have to tell you that the fastest, easiest and best way to get you this job is for me to go ahead and get all the information myself right now so that we can get a complete application packet submitted immediately. This is a competitive position and there are other drivers actively applying, so the sooner we can get it done the better”.

“If you insist on doing the application yourself then I can send you my intelliapp link and I’ll need you to fill that out as completely as you can. The more info you provide up front the faster we can get your application process moving along.

“We’ll definitely need all the info for all your CDL driving jobs including the names and phone numbers of companies, miles and areas driven, types of trucks and trailers, and trailer length for each job.

“Additionally, Hogan requires:

  • 10 years employment history
  • Home address history for the past 3 years
  • History of traffic accidents, violations and/or convictions from the last 3 years (including DUI or reckless driving conviction and license suspension)
  • Any military history.
  • Front and back copy of the driver’s CDL and a copy of their Med Card.
  • A copy of a second form of ID such as Passport, Birth Cert or SS Card.
  • Name on the application must match how it appears on the CDL.

“Be sure to make note of the *confirmation number given when you submit that Intelliapp. I’ll need that to find your app in the system. Then let me know as soon as you get that done so I can be on the lookout for it and get everything submitted for you ASAP.”

SEND THE INTELLI-APP LINK VIA TEXT OR EMAIL:

https://intelliapp.driverapponline.com/c/classarecruiting?r=GPeffer&uri_b=ia_classarecruiting_813408240

THEN SET FOLLOW-UP EXPECTATIONS

(*Be sure to stress to the driver the importance of saving the confirmation number given. Once you receive the confirmation number from the driver, do the Driver Management submission using the “App Link Sent/Awaiting Info” status adding that number in the “Notes” section. Nothing will be done with any driver submitted Intelliapps without that number.)

SETTING FOLLOW-UP EXPECTATIONS

“In addition to your completed application, we’re also going to need a copy of the front and back of your CDL and medical card as well as a second form of ID such as Passport, Birth Cert or SS Card. The carrier prefers us to include them as part of your application packet in order to help speed up the process. You can send those to my email, ______.

PROVIDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS FOR DOCUMENTS

“Next, within the next 10 minutes to 24 hours a rep with Hogan will email you some release forms. It’s important that you get those signed and submitted ASAP. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t find them at first. Once you get those knocked out your rep will call you to recap the job description, set up orientation and walk you through the rest of the application and orientation process.

“Sound good? Ok, so I’ll let you go for now but be sure to save my number so that when I call you back tomorrow with updates or to get more information then you’ll know it’s me and be sure to answer the phone. I’ll keep in touch with you throughout this process to make sure everything happens quickly and smoothly, as well as to answer any additional questions you may have.

ADDITIONAL FOLLOW UP FOR ALL CARMAX ACCOUNTS

“The CARMAX accounts have a slightly different process once you get hired. After you go through the verification process, do the LUMA (which is the Hogan Online Orientation), sign all paperwork and get hired you’ll be scheduled for the Carmax training on the next available date. This CAN take as long as a month depending on available Mentors. So, it’s in your best interest to get your LUMA and paperwork done as soon as possible so you can be added to the next available spot for training.”

“Have a great day, (driver name), and I’ll talk to you again tomorrow/next week.”

OUR HOGAN REP (Kissa) WILL SEND THE RELEASES TO THE DRIVER

Follow Up –

  • Once you submit the app, the releases are sent once they RC (Recruiter Change) it to us. This can take (10 minutes up to 24hrs).
  • Once releases are signed, Kissa calls the driver to recap the job description and make the driver aware that a Hogan on-boarder will call next to set up orientation and online tasks.
  • Brittany, Kelly or Amanda will call the driver (within the same day up to 2 days typically) and initiate onboarding including an email to the driver outlining the “To Do” list.
  • At this point, reports are run, along with VOE’s being sent out.
  • Other Hogan personnel reach out to the driver as “OBCs” Onboarding Coordinator to help make sure the driver stays on track to complete their tasks
