You’ll be running 2021-2024 model Peterbilt 579 Ultralofts with automatic transmissions. WEL does have KW T680’s but they are rarely open. All trucks have APU’s (mostly ThermoKing but also some Carriers on older units). They also have refrigerators, power inverters and are governed at 70 mph on pedal and cruise. Cameras are outward facing only.
Trucks are permanently assigned and can be taken home for time off. Drivers in the Northeast can park at their Allentown, PA terminal and South FL drivers must be willing to park the truck at the Winter Haven Terminal for time off.
Riders are allowed but must be at least 6 years old and there will be a $16 per month charge. Dogs are allowed with a 60lb limit. There will be a $750 non-refundable deposit required paid at $75 per week. (Service animals are excluded from deposit as long as documentation is provided.)

WEL is an established company originally established in 1975 and is based out of Oklahoma City, OK. They currently offer OTR routes for company drivers delivering reefer freight. They haul pork, but not alcohol and can work with drivers who need that accommodated.

Orientation will be 3 days long (Monday-Wednesday/Wednesday-Friday), paid at $125 per day and held in De Pere, WI. Lodging will be provided as well as lunch and travel. Travel will be anything the driver prefers as long as it’s feasible in price.
UPON COMPLETION OF THE PRESENTATION, RETURN TO THE CLOSE
