ORIENTATION INFO (CREORT)
“Orientation starts on Mondays and lasts 4-5 days. Remote orientation is available for most lanes, where you do the orientation at home, and then go to the account for your road evaluation.
“Minimum wage is paid for the actual orientation, which is about 4-5 hours; not for the whole time you’re waiting to be hired. The orientation coordinator will let you know when you’re scheduled, as there are other options if you miss a class.
“A bus ticket to orientation will be provided, or reimbursement for other travel up to $100 with receipts. Dorm style rooms are provided, but you’ll be responsible for your own meals.
“All drivers go out with a mentor for 3-5 days on most lanes, and the mentor can then drop them off where they can get a truck.”
