Pre-Qualifications
Minimum Age	21 years of age
Minimum Experience (tractor Trailer/OTR)	6 months of SOLO T/T experience in the last 12 months * They will consider all types of experience (except training) as long as it’s at least a 45ft combination vehicle * Can’t be yard work only * Drivers MUST have a valid CDL in the driver’s state of residence (or must obtain a valid CDL within 30 days of transfer to another state) * Military Experience:  It’s difficult to use because they would need to verify & they would have needed to have gone to a truck school before to use it as experience Would need at least a copy of their DD214
Moving Violations (max in 3 year period)	No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months in any motor vehicle
Policy on License suspensions	No license revocations or suspensions for moving violations within the past 3 years All other license suspensions will be reviewed case by case by Bison management and may be disqualifying
Accidents	No more than 1 DOT Recordable, preventable (at-fault) accident in the past 36 months All preventable injury, fatality, rear-end, rollover, lane change, jackknife, roll away, U-turn, loss of control, dropped trailer on roadway, and railroad crossing will be reviewed case by case by Bison management and may be disqualifying
Maximum Major Moving Violation	No violation of any of the following within the past 36 months in any motor vehicle: Eluding law enforcement, operating a motor vehicle without permission of the owner Speed exhibition, contest, or drag race No violation of any of the following within the past 36 months in a CMV: Reckless driving Careless driving or causing an accident Improper/erratic lane change Following too closely 15 mph or more above the posted speed limit Driving a CMV after being declared “out of service” or operating an “out of service vehicle.” No more than 1 moving violation for any of the following within the past 36 months in a personal motor vehicle: Reckless driving Careless driving or causing an accident 15 mph or more over the posted speed limit Following too closely Improper/erratic lane change
Max. Number of Jobs- in the last 3 years	Less than 6 in the last 3 years but depending on overall work history, we could consider more Would want to see at least a year of steady employment recently if we’re looking at someone with more than 6 jobs

The Bison fleet of Freightliners average just 3 years old or less. They are all automatics with a top speed of 65 on the pedal and 68 on cruise. 80% have APU’s. If yours doesn’t, Bison will install one if you purchase it.

Trucks are permanently assigned for Regional and OTR but slip seat for local when open. They can be taken home for time off with secure parking.

There are both inward and outward facing cameras but there is the possibility of switching to outward only after a year with the company.

Riders must be at least 12 years old and are only allowed after approval by Safety.
Dogs are allowed as long as they’re 80 pounds or less. 0-35 pounds will require a $500 deposit and 36-80 pounds will require a $1,000 deposit.

Orientation will be 3 days long, starting on Monday(road test) and ending Wednesday. It’ll be held in Amherst, WI; Hermon, ME; or Sumter, SC.

A single occupancy hotel room will be provided as well as breakfast and lunch. Travel will be provided by rental car and you’ll be paid $750 for the week.
