EQUIPMENT INFO
“Transco keeps their fleet modern and reliable, operating 2023 to 2027 Freightliners and Internationals with an impressive average tractor age of just two years. All of their trucks are equipped with smooth automatic transmissions, and are permanently assigned, though you must take whichever unit is currently available upon assignment. For your comfort and convenience on the road, their fleet features Geotab logging devices, standard EZ Pass and Pre-Pass units, and ComData fuel cards. While their trucks are not equipped with toll cards, and only a select few are outfitted with inverters or APUs, we ensure you have the vital tools necessary to get the job done efficiently.
Transco prioritizes safety and efficiency through structured truck speeds and precise operations. Their trucks are set to a pedal speed of 65 MPH and a cruise speed of 68 MPH, with a built-in passing feature that allows you to reach 70 MPH for up to one hour per day. To keep operations seamless, you will not have routing or fuel stop flexibility; the team at Transco will handle the logistics by routing you directly and specifying exactly where to fuel. When it is time for a well-deserved break, you are welcome to take your truck home for your time off, provided you have a secure parking location that can accommodate both the truck and the trailer together.
The rider policy welcomes passengers who are 12 years of age or older and physically able to safely enter and exit the truck, subject to a $35 monthly rider insurance fee. If you prefer a furry co-pilot, the pet policy allows for small dogs under 50 pounds with a $750 non-refundable deposit. Best of all, you are never truly alone on the road—you’ll be fully supported by the 24-hour dispatch to ensure help is always just a call away, no matter the time of day.”
