“You’ll be hauling grocery freight to Target stores in the states of IA, NE, WI, MO, KS and IL. It’ll be live unload, customer does the unload but there are 4 stores that are driver assist with liftgate trailers. Backhauls will be both live load and D&H. Other responsibilities include recording pallets
on dock, moving bulkheads, fueling reefers and turning in completed customer paperwork including reefer fuel receipts.

“You’ll be home weekly for your 34hr reset. 90% of this account is night driving with the majority of the dock out times from 9pm to 4am. It’ll be Thur-Mon (Start 6am Thurs and done 2pm Tues). Drivers who live within 60 miles of DC (6601 Hudson Rd, Cedar Falls, IA 50613) might have opportunity for day shift based on availability.

“Pay is mileage based, and the rate ranges from $0.71-$0.75 cents per mile, depending on verifiable experience. So with an average of 2,000 miles per week, with 10 stops at $18 per stop, and $15 per backhaul, the average weekly pay is $1,825 per week. On top of that, you’ll be eligible for a $.02 cent per mile performance bonus paid monthly, which could add another $2,000 to your W2. And currently, there is also a $5,000 sign on bonus for those with verifiable experience.
