TA DEDICATED: VWR-BRIDGEPORT, NJ

MUST LIVE WITHIN 50 MILES OF BRIDGEPORT, NJ

This is a dedicated, regional route delivering medical supplies within the states of NJ, PA, MD, NY, MA, CT and DE. For NY you’ll be running I-95 North to MA. You’ll average 1,896 miles per week with 9 stops. It’ll be D&H, bumping docks with minimal touch. Internal backhauls will avg 6 hrs delay per week.

This account requires you to be comfortable with driving at night and you must have your Hazmat Endorsement at the time of application.

You’ll be home weekly for your 34 hr reset (on the weekend) with the potential to be home through the week. Your schedule will be Sunday afternoon – Friday. All loads dispatch at 7pm.

Compensation will be mileage, stop pay and delay pay. Starting at $0.66 CPM or $29.00/hr, stop pay will be $27 and delay pay $25 bringing your average weekly pay to $1,673.

Pre-Qualifications
Minimum Age	Must be at least 21
Minimum Experience (tractor Trailer/OTR)	Level 1 positions require 6 months of experience driving a trailer of at least 45 ft  Level 2 positions now require 1 year (12 months) of experience with a trailer length of at least 45 ft. Level 2 Positions: Foley Quality Steel Hyundai Owens Corning Advance Auto/ Carquest Honda LP Cylinder * Local Experience will count towards experience * The experience on the Job Sheet trumps all info above. Please make sure to check the job sheets for experience required. * Time spent training at a school or previous employer training does not count toward driving experience requirements * They DO NOT accept military or oil field experience * Drivers who were issued their CLP prior to 2/7/2022 and with less than 1-year experience need to provide their training certificate. If the certificate cannot be produced a VOE showing completion of the training program from the approved school is needed.
Moving Violations (max in 3 year period)	No more than 3 moving citations within the past 3 years -Pending citations need to be reviewed. This includes citations for texting / cell phone use -Driving CMV without a CDL No more than 5 moving violations on the PSP -If 3 moving violations in the last 12 months safety review required -If 3 of the same moving violations in 3 years safety review required
Policy on License suspensions	-No license revocations or suspensions in the last 12 months related to moving violations. -Multiple license revocations or suspensions beyond 12 months will require a written safety review.  -Multiple for child support suspension will be reviewed by the Recruiting managers.
Accidents	-No more than 3 non-DOT preventable accidents in the past 3 years, must be reviewed by safety -Preventable DOT OR Major accidents inside of 1 year is not qualified, 13-24 months will require a written review by safety (Defined as U-turn, rollover, run under, jackknife, rear end (except low speed stop and go traffic) & lane change)
Incidents (max in 3 year period)	No more than 3 in the past 3 years
Ticket/Accident/Incident Combo	No more than 5 COMBINED preventable accidents AND moving violations in the past 3 years
Serious Moving Violations (in the last 3 years)	Serious moving violation convictions in a POV or CMV within the past 24 months reviewed by Safety   Serious moving violations include but are not limited to: -Improper/erratic lane change -Following too close -Speeding excessively -Involving any speed of 24.1 kmph (15 mph) or more above the regulated or posted speed limit -Violating State or local law related to MV traffic control arising in connection with a fatal accident -Driving a CMV without a CDL or proper endorsements -Texting while driving -Using a handheld while driving -Failing to stop at a RR crossing * Convictions or pending charges for reckless/careless driving within the past 5 years will require a written review by safety. * Violating an “out of service” order while operating a CMV within the past 3 years requires a written review by safety. * Convictions or pending charges for leaving the scene of an accident within the past 7 years requires a written review by safety.
Major Moving Violations- that are automatic DQ’s	-Violating an “out of service” order while operating a CMV within the past 3 years requires a written review by safety.  -Convictions or pending charges for reckless/careless driving within the past 5 years will require a written review by safety -Convictions or pending charges for leaving the scene of an accident within the past 7 years requires a written review by safety.
Max. Number of Jobs- in the last 3 years	-No more than 8 jobs in the last 3 years -No more than 3 CDL jobs in the last 12 months -Drivers with 6 months of experience only must have 2 or less driving jobs in that time
Policy Against Unemployment- even if it is accounted for	More than 18 months unemployment time in the past 3 years requires a safety review
Terminated Applicants	Terminations within the last year will require safety review
Felony & Misdemeanor Convictions – How old must they be? Based off the conviction date? What are the “silver bullets”?	-Currently on probation or parole do not qualify for felonies -No Felonies in the past 7 years -No more than 2 misdemeanors in the past 7 years
DUI/DWI- What is the max number and what time frames do they need to fall outside of?	-DUI/DWI less than 5 years does not qualify -DUI/DWI or under the influence of narcotics older than 5 years, but less than 10 years in a POV requires a written review by safety -Multiple DUI/DWI in a lifetime, does not qualify -Citation for Open Container in a CMV, does not qualify -DUI/DWI or under the influence of narcotics in a CMV does not qualify
Is Haz-Mat Required? Is there a grace period for driver to obtain it?	HazMat and all endorsements are required at the time of the application for lanes that require it, regardless of what the job description states about Drivers being able to get it.
DOT Physical	Will accept current physical if it does not expire inside of 3 months. All physicals are reviewed by Third Party Administrator (TPA). For a new physical, must pass DOT physical from a company approved medical examiner and receive a DOT medical examiner’s certificate that is valid for no less than 3 months from date of exam. Company reserves the right to require any driver to take a new physical prior to or upon arrival to orientation or rehire.
Drug Testing	Both urine & hair follicle * Please inform drivers that CFI conducts urine and hair testing. With hair testing we can collect a sample from head, armpit or leg. If driver does not have hair we can conduct a nail test. This could result in a extended eta as we have to order a kit.
Failed or Refused Drug or Alcohol Test	Positives and/or refusals on a chemical drug or alcohol testing for a DOT regulated position or company does not qualify

You’ll be running 2022 Kenworth T680’s or Freightliner Cascadias and pulling 53’ 102’ Swing Door trailers. The trucks will be automatics with a top speed of 65 mph. They don’t have APU’s and Invertors are available, but not stock in the truck. The invertors are 1500 watts and available for purchase, about $230 (4 payments taken out of their check each weekend)

Trucks are permanently assigned and must be parked on site. They do have cameras but only the front facing units are turned on. The cameras facing the driver are turned off unless the driver has safety issues and is on safety review.

Orientation will be 3 days long (Mon-Wed or Wed-Fri) and held in Atlanta, GA. Pay out will be $500 upon hire. Lodging will be at the Drury Inn & Suites, single occupancy rooms. Breakfast will be at the hotel and the carrier will provide lunch. Travel will be provided by bus, rental car or plane depending on how far travel is to orientation site.
