QUALIFICATIONS
Pre-Qualifications
Minimum Age At least 21 years of age
Minimum Experience (Tractor Trailer/OTR) At least 1 year experience in the past 3 years
At least 2 years experience in the past 5 years
Experience must be with comparable equipment (45 foot or longer)
*  Local experience will count if the driver has been driving in the same states as regional position
* For more information on what they will accept for comparable experience, please see the tab on their needs sheet labeled “Comp Equipment”
* Driver must have CDL from their current state residence
Policy on License suspensions No suspension, revocation, or cancellation as a result of a moving violation or accident in the past 5 years
* Time frames are determined from the beginning of suspension
Accidents No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the past 5 years
* All others needs review of a safety manager
Ticket/Accident/Incident Combo MVR – Cannot have more than 2 moving violations and/or preventable accidents within the past 3 years (citations or convictions). Accidents/violations with the same date count as 1 event.
Non-MVR – Candidate with more than 2 preventable accidents/incidents within the previous 3 years need to be reviewed by the recruiting manager.
* If the PSP contains violations that are not on the MVR and those violations would DQ the Driver had they been on the MVR, the file needs to be reviewed by a manager.
Max. Number of Jobs- in the last 3 years -No more than 2 jobs in the last year
-No more than 4 jobs in 3 years
-Needs recent OTR Exp to run OTR/Regional
Policy Against Unemployment- even if it is accounted for Less than 90 days – written letter/form acceptable
More than 90 days – documentation required (can be a signed declaration by driver)
Terminated Applicants If the driver was terminated from their last job please supply ample notes so a decision can be made. Do not consider the app if the termination was due to safety reasons.
